First steps

1. 1System invitations for your country - while they last, you enter without a code; when they run out, you enter from an inviting link from a TOCAA user (When your country is full).

The home page is TOCAA's public door - everyone sees it before logging in, in their own language. One card: you log in if you're already inside, or you get started if you're not yet (Log in, User registration).

When your country is full

1. 1No free seats - an invitation code becomes the only door (Invite a person, Invite a company).
2. 2The three steps adapt - joining now starts with someone inside.
3. 3Paste the invitation code you got from a TOCAA member here (Invite a person, Invite a company).
4. 4The button waits until you type a code - once you have, you press Get started and the activation link arrives in your e-mail (User registration).

Log in

1. 1Your e-mail and password - too many failed tries lock the account for a while.
2. 2Two-factor code - only if you switched it on; backup codes work here too (Two-factor authentication).
3. 3Forgot your password - a reset link lands in your e-mail.
4. 4The free-seat counter for your country - the same pool as on Get started (First steps).

User registration

1. 1Your new account gets its public address from the @handle - e.g. /@emma-clarke - and that is where others find you (Your profile).
2. 2Set your password - minimum 8 characters, typed twice.
3. 3Date of birth - checked against your country's minimum age before the account can activate (First steps).

The step after you click the e-mail link - exactly the same whether you came from the system pool on Get started or with an invitation code from a member (First steps, Invite a person). Name, password and date of birth - your address and country are already set.

Registering a company, public institution, journalist or politician

1. 1You register a company, a public institution, a journalist or a politician with a BIZ- code from the user who invited them (Invite a company).
2. 2Account kind: Company, Public institution, Politician or Journalist.
3. 3The activity - one of 629 categories, from a farmer to a hospital (The country's companies).
4. 4A new company runs read-only until identity verification is complete (Identity and payment).

Company registration lives at /business/join. A BIZ- invitation opens it, and the new account runs read-only until identity verification is complete (Invite a company, Identity and payment).

Report Centre

1. 158 language versions - the regulations and this page are in the official languages of TOCAA's countries (Regulations). Unfold the bar to see which language applies in which country. The portal interface itself speaks 87 languages.
2. 2A report belongs to a country - here you see which country you are filing it for; the form, the verifier queue and the reference are tied to that country.
3. 3Without an account you can report illegal content, personal safety, intellectual property, accessibility, a public authority matter and “something else”.
4. 4Purchases, privacy and appeals ask you to log in - the case arrives with your account's context attached (Log in).
